Environment Canada warns that drivers should expect poor travel conditions into Friday evening.

An Arctic cold front has brought strong and gusty west to northwest winds to Southern Ontario today. These winds combined with scattered flurries and freshly fallen snow will likely result in some local blowing snow and drifting snow, especially over exposed areas. Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions this afternoon and early evening with sudden reductions to visibility possible.

Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.
