Parents Needed For Public Board Accommodation Committee

The Greater Essex County District School Board is taking applications for parent and community representatives on its 2015 Program & Accommodation Review Committee.

The committee will study General Amherst, Kingsville District, and Harrow District high schools, Western Secondary School and Harrow Public School.

A parent representative must have a child attending one of those schools. Community representatives will be free of any current connection to the school communities. The commitment is for meetings every two weeks for at least a six month period. More information is available on the Board’s website.

Applications are available at each school and must be submitted during school hours by Friday, January 16th.

The committee will be approved by the Board of Trustees at their regular monthly meeting, Tuesday, January 20th. The first committee meeting will be held at General Amherst High School on Wednesday, January 21st.
