Environment Canada says there is no quick ending to this bitter cold weather.

Today’s high will reach -6°C or 21F and the overnight low will be -14°C or 6°F. Winds this evening will be west 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming light after midnight.

On Wednesday the high will be -12°C or 10°F, but the windchill will make it feel like -25°C or -13F°.

Thursday to Saturday will only see highs reach around -9°C or 15°F, and overnight lows between -10°C or 14°F and -15°C or 5°F

The normal high for this time of year is -1°C or 30°F and the normal low is -8°C or 17°F.
