A popular South Windsor eatery is expanding and will be holding a job fair next week.
John Max Sports and Wings is planning on opening a second location on Lauzon parkway in February.
Owner John Okane says that the new location will have the same great feel, menu, and beer line up as the Dougall Avenue location, with an over-the-top TV and sound system.
“We thought 29″ big screens wasn’t enough at our Dougall location so we are installing 32″ at the Lauzon location,” said Okane.
He says the other added bonus on Lauzon Parkway is they will feature a full size tiki bar outside and outdoor TV’s on a new large patio surrounded by four high end luxury Volleyball courts that will host night time volleyball leagues Monday to Friday.
The job fair will take place at the new location, 2601 Lauzon Parkway on Wednesday January 7th and Thursday January 8th from 11am to 7pm.
They will be hiring for all positions including dishwashers, line cooks, servers, bartenders, hosts, managers and one volleyball coordinator to organize and run volleyball leagues.
They ask that all applicants bring a hard copy of their resume with references. They say everyone who attends will receive an interview.
A total of 80 to 90 people will be hired.
