Snow, sleet and freezing rain are in the weather forecast for early Thursday morning, and city crews are getting ready.
The precipitation is expected to begin just prior to the morning commute and city crews will begin to pre-salt and apply brine on E.C. Row and the main routes overnight.
Equipment will be on standby, ready to mobilize when conditions warrant.
The city asks that motorists to drive slowly, give extra room for stopping and drive according to the conditions.
