Serious Crash Sends Four To Hospital

A serious accident sent four people to hospital Saturday.

Chatham-Kent police say the crash happened at 2:18pm on Kimble Road near Wallaceburg.

A blue Volkswagen Golf was travelling southbound on Kimble Road when it crossed over beyond the oncoming lane of traffic and struck a bridge railing abutment head-on.

There were four occupants inside the vehicle. The driver, a 56-year-old man from Wallaceburg suffered critical injuries and was transported to a hospital in Windsor. Two 12-year-old male youths also suffered critical injuries and were transported to a hospital in London. A 15-year-old male youth suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital in Chatham.
