New Westbound Ramp From Highway 401 Opens

The new westbound ramp from Highway 401 to Highway 3 (Huron Line) opened overnight. This ramp will carry traffic from Highway 401 westbound to Highway 3.

This will move Highway 401 westbound traffic out of the roundabout. Westbound traffic was shifted into the roundabout in spring 2014 to accommodate construction in this area.

Over the coming weeks, Highway 401 westbound traffic heading to Amherstburg will also use this new ramp, turn left of southbound Howard Avenue, travel across the Howard Connector to County 9 and turn left for access to eastbound Highway 3 via the roundabout or turn right for southbound County Road 9 to Amherstburg.
