The City of Windsor is planning more improvements to Willistead Park.
Over the past year, new pathways have been installed making the park more accessible. In addition the city recently began planting new trees.
The city is now in the planning stages of the next phase of work, which could include landscaping and rehabilitating the Queen Victoria Fountain, landscaping the entrance gates along each of the streets that enclose the park and finalizing a tree planting plan.
A community meeting will be held on Tuesday to familiarize residents of the city with the processes for these improvements and provide an anticipated timeline.
The meeting will be held at Willistead Manor from 5pm to 7pm. Interested residents are encouraged to attend and to provide input on park improvements.
