Ford City Shines For Tree Lighting, Neighbourhood Market

Ford City Residents In Action held their fourth annual Christmas Market followed by a tree lighting celebration, Tuesday evening.

The Christmas market was held at Gino & Liz Marcus’ Community Complex from 5:30 pm to 8:30pm.  Approximately 22 vendors were available for the public to purchase gifts.

Items for sale included jewellery, Christmas cards, hand crafted items, blankets and scarves.

Central Public School was given a grant by the United Way for Grade 5 and six students to hand knit hats and scarves.

A few students from Central Public School were at the Christmas Market donating hats to the public.
