Chris Ryan has been appointed the Director of the St. Clair College Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre.

The Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre will be the focal point for students, faculty and community members who are interested in, or want to learn more about creating their own business. Genesis will provide young entrepreneurs access to the regional innovation ecosystem, mentors, College alumni, business gurus and a wide array of professional service providers.

“Our vision for Genesis is to be a “Regional Hub” for youth entrepreneurship. Having Chris Ryan as our Director, with his business and community knowledge and regional leadership will be an ongoing resource to our students”. Dr. John Strasser

The college says that Chris Ryan brings over 25 years of entrepreneurship experience in both the private and corporate sector to his new role at St. Clair College. He has been a Chief Operating Officer, local entrepreneur, sales and marketing executive and most know him as the former Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island. Chris has also served our community as a board member of the Windsor Essex Chamber of Commerce, Ontario Restaurant Association and Windsor’s Downtown Business Association.
