Windsor Fire says that an early morning fire in downtown Windsor Friday started in bedroom and they have listed the cause as accidental.

Fire crews were called to an 11th floor apartment at 810 Ouellette around 3am and found heavy smoke and fire coming from one unit. Crews were able to bring it under control within an hour.

Three people were sent to hospital, with one listed in critical condition. Fire officals say that their condition has improved, and they remain in hospital.

Damage is set at $365,000.
