The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is looking for interested parties to file their applications/nominations to fill eight open positions on the organization’s Board of Directors.
Through its leadership in advocacy, infrastructure, development and marketing, the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association and its Board of Directors work to ensure that downtown Windsor is the preferred place to work, visit and live. The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association facilitates dialogue and activity among key stakeholders, including the City of Windsor’s various departments, member businesses, government agencies, arts and culture community and the general public.
Applicants must reside in Windsor-Essex County and must either own commercial property or operate a business within the Business Improvement Association’s boundaries.
If you, or another qualified candidate, are interested in becoming a Board Member you can complete the Application or Nomination Form found and return it in person at 419 Pelissier Street.
The term of office is four years and the election will take place on Wednesday November 26th.
