The fourth annual Savour the Wine Tour is this Sunday.
The day consists of 12 buses filled with more than 500 people touring all the destination vineyards throughout Essex County, with routes visiting such vineyards as Cooper’s Hawk, Viewpointe, and Aleksander, there is something for everyone along the route.
Starting with a gourmet bagged lunch, the event melds phenomenal food with mouth-watering wine, all paired with a designated driver. Guests of the wine tour join one of twelve buses and visit three of twelve vineyards, with premier wine tasting opportunities at each. The day is capped off with a superb meal and entertainment at the Ciociaro Club.
“We have something for everyone,” says executive director, Carol Derbyshire. “The wine tour is a fabulous experience pairing three of my favourite things: wine, food and raising money for our Hospice. What’s not to love?”
The Savour the Wine Tour kicks off at the Ciociaro Club Pavilion, 3745 North Talbot Road, at noon on Sunday, September 14th. Buses depart at 1pm
