Reconstruction of the Walkerville BIA continues at a quick pace along Wyandotte Street East.
After many weeks of underground work including new water mains, sewers and electrical work, crews have started working on stuff that can actually be seen.
New cement crosswalks have been poured along with new curbs and sidewalks. Each corner will feature bump-outs with cement planter boxes featuring trees. Street furniture will also be added throughout the BIA.
Work is expected to be complete in October.
