New Managers To Head City Aquatics Operations

The city has hired two new managers to oversee the aquatics operations of the Recreation and Culture Department, including the new Windsor International Aquatics and Training Centre and Adventure Bay Family Water Park, presented by WFCU.
London native Jennifer Knights is the new Manager, Windsor International Aquatics and Training Centre/Adventure Bay and Aquatics Services and brings over 25 years of experience to the position, including Program Coordinator for Aquatics, Dance and Sport Instruction at the University of Western Ontario; Supervisor of Aquatics for the City of London; and, Aquatics Program Technician in Victoria, British Columbia. Jennifer has also had direct involvement in the opening and operation of sport and recreation complexes with similarities to Windsor’s new downtown Aquatics Complex. Her first day is October 14th.
Joining Jennifer as Assistant Manager, Windsor International Aquatics and Training Centre/Adventure Bay and Business Development is Michael Chantler. Michael was most recently the General Manager of the Ontario Summer Games. He has extensive supervisory and management experience, having been the Supervisor of Licensing and Deputy Licence Commissioner for the last several years and Supervisor of Membership and Communications with the Convention and Visitors Bureau. He starts on September 23rd.
