Visual artist Nancy Barakat will be exhibiting her paintings, drawing, photography, and intaglio at ArtSpeak Gallery until October 4th.
The exhibition features a collection of the artist’s works that puts her life experiences and past emotion to a powerful depth through painting, photography, drawing, and Intaglio. She creates a diverse approach to interpret life during difficult times, solving life challenges through art as a meditative experience.
“These works are silenced memories contained in paper or canvas, though they still feel very much live and present. This show will be the end of a dark chapter, and the beginning of a long positive journey in my life as a visual artist.”
“I want to engage the viewers and find personal meanings in my artwork. I want it to be an interactive experience and serve as inspiration to them.”
Artspeak Gallery, located at 1942 Wyandotte Street East and is open from 1pm to 5pm.
