A motorcycle rider has been killed after a collision involving a work truck near Comber.
OPP say that the crash happened at 11:25am at the Intersection of Essex County Road 46 and Rochester Townline.
Investigation determined that a motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Essex County Road 46 when it collided with a pickup truck that was travelling southbound on Rochester Townline. That intersection is controlled by a stop sign both northbound and southbound on Rochester Townline.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police have identified the motorcycle rider as 52-year-old Bryan McIntee of Courtland, Ontario.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
