Changes are coming to the Herman Family of Schools in east Windsor schools after the Ministry of Education announced a major investment.
The funding will support the board’s plan to close Percy P. McCallum Public School and move the students to W.F. Herman Secondary School.
Herman will become a kindergarten to grade 12 school.
Gordon McGregor Public School will also be closed with that school community transitioning to the former McCallum building.
The money announced by the ministry will cover the cost of renovations at Herman needed to accommodate the elementary students. A design will be developed over the next 6 months before the project will go out for tender.
