Tecumseh Mall’s drive-in movies at Friday helped to raise a generous sum of money for those in need.
The management team at Tecumseh Mall presented a cheque for $2,045.21 to the Unemployed Help Centre, Thursday afternoon, and they hope the funds can be well utilized for the Centre’s food bank.
“As a community shopping centre, Tecumseh Mall is proud to support the Unemployed Help Centre this year and it is our hope that the monies raised will provide needed resources to supplement the food bank inventories,” said the mall’s marketing director Nancy Jarnevic.
The drive-in movie drew over 250 cars to the mall’s lot for The Lego movie and was the largest attendance ever for the annual movie event.
