Beach Report: Sandpoint Beach Closed Due To High E.coli Levels

Based on samples taken on Wednesday August 6th:
Sandpoint Beach is officially closed due to high E.coli levels.
Due to possible health risks, swimming is not recommended at Colchester Beach and Hillman Marsh Beach.
All other beaches are safe.
Water samples to test for E.coli are taken every Wednesday. The samples are sent to a public health lab in London. Testing is done Thursday and the results are given to the Health Unit by Friday.
