Used Tires Turned To Cash For The Sunshine Foundation

A&L Auto Recyclers from Comber is turning old tires into cash for the Sunshine Foundation.

From May 26th to 31st, 60 members of the Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association participated in the Tire Take Back campaign, collecting old tires to raise over $90,000 for The Sunshine Foundation of Canada.

A&L Auto Recyclers collected 13,762 used tires receiving the prize for highest number of tires collected out of all participating member locations.

As a result, A&L received $15,000 toward sustainable recycled tire products to be used to revitalize a community space of their choice.
