Public Assistance Requested In Identifying Suspicious Male In Chatham

Chatham-Kent police say that on June 30th, 2014 at approximately 12:45pm a male party was observed in Kingston Park  in Chatham acting in a suspicious manner watching the children at play.

Police say that once he realized his actions were being observed he left the park in a white KIA two door vehicle.

The male party is described as a white male, approximately 40 years of age, he was 5 feet 6 inches tall with tanned skin. He was wearing blue swim shorts and a grey t-shirt and had on aviator style sunglasses.

Chatham Kent Police would like the public’s assistance in attempting to identify this male party. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Greg Cranston at 519-436-6621. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
