Open Houses This Week For New Windsor Playgrounds

Parks and Facilities in the City of Windsor is designing and constructing new spaces for children to exercise, play and imagine in. This year the Parks department will install five new accessible-themed playgrounds in five different parks across the city this year.
Three Community Information Sessions will take place this week. At these sessions, parks and Facilitates Staff will be on hand at each to talk about the Park Redevelopment Plan and the Playground Proposal of interactive, creative, accessible and imaginative play spaces.
A Ford Test Track Community Information Session to be held at Most Precious Blood Church located at 1947 Meldrum Road on Tuesday July 8th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
A Remington Park Community Information Session will be held at the Fogolar Furlan Club in the Dante Hall on Wednesday July 9th from 6:30lm to 7:30pm.
And a Mic Mac Park Community Information Session will be held at the park shelter, weather permitting on Thursday July 10th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
