The Arts Council Windsor & Region is launching a brand new in-office resource library.

The in-office library offers free handouts to the community at large & larger publications available for sign-out by ACWR smART Card holders, with the goal of encouraging professional development in our local artistic community, aiding in the grant-writing process for artists and promoting local community & socially-engaged artists and art projects.

Categories in the In-Office Resource Library include:

  • Local Artist & Community Arts Publications
  • Conference & Symposium Publications
  • Professional Development: Project Management | Fundraising | Publicity
  • Workbooks & Toolkits
  • Project Examples
  • Annual Reports
  • Ontario Arts Council Grant Documents for the Artists in the Community/Workplace, Exhibition Assistance, Emerging Artist & Compass programs.

The in-office resource library has been implemented by ACWR’s current Cultural Animator Michelle Soullière and was spearheaded by past Cultural Animator, Alana Bartol.

The new Resource Library opens on Monday July 28th.  The Library will be open and staffed weekdays from 1pm to 5pm at 1942 Wyandotte Street East.
