Plans to improve Windsor’s museum space are well under way with the city moving forward with improvements to the storage and exhibit space at the Francois Baby House, as well as the expansion of the museum to the first floor of the Art Gallery of Windsor.
The city has hired consultants, Hariri Pontarini Architects, and Lord Cultural Resources to complete the design for the proposed improvements, including the planning and development of the new exhibition spaces.
As part of the design process, a public meeting will be held this Thursday starting at 6pm at the Art Gallery. The meeting will begin with a presentation on the preliminary exhibition plans, followed by a question and discussion period.
The city says that public is encouraged to attend and provide input and feedback on the proposed exhibit designs.
