A familiar name to many has joined the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation. Houida Kassem has been appointed Manager and Director of Development.
In her new role, Houida is responsible for executing the goals and objectives of the Foundation, guiding fundraising initiatives, overseeing and managing operations, and providing leadership and donor stewardship.

The Cancer Centre Foundation recently completed their third capital campaign, successfully raising $5.4 million through their It’s In Your Jeans campaign for the Dr. Richard Boyd Regional Comprehensive Men’s Health Program. This brings their total dollars raised to over $25 million since 1996, for equipment purchases, providing short-term financial aid to local cancer patients, supporting local cancer research, and a variety of programs within the regional cancer program, with a goal of making the cancer journey less stressful for patients and their families.
