Ghanam Announces Entry To Ward 1 Race

Denise Ghanam, owner of GCI Strategy, has announced her candidacy for city council in Windsor’s Ward 1.

Ghanam, who has twenty years of business experience and six years of full time teaching at the Odette School of Business, plans to be a councillor supporting economic growth if elected.

“I want to focus my efforts in three main areas, our significant infrastructure deficit, economic growth and improved accountability and engagement from all levels of Administration,” said Ghanam.

“We need to be more inclusive with our residents on decision processes that impact them directly, we need a better form of oversight on how the City and its related entities spend their budgets effectively and finally we must be prepared to invest our money prudently on behalf of our citizens”

Ghanam joins Daniel Ableser, Matt Ford and Ryan Mancini in the race for Ward 1.
