The Windsor Symphony Orchestra’s annual free Summer Concerts return with this Sunday with a performance at Reaume Park.
These popular concerts offer family audiences a beautiful evening of music by the water performed by the superb musicians of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. The opening performance highlights a wide range of music from ragtime and jazz to classical. Come out and hear pieces by Henry Fillmore, Edward Elgar, Scott Joplin, and Louis Armstrong, with WSO musicians Helen Near, Flute, Faith Scholfield, Oboe, Trebor Pittman, Clarinet, Julie Shier, Bassoon, and Timothy Lockwood, Horn.
This idyllic setting is perfect for an evening out with friends and family, concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, even a picnic dinner to enjoy beneath the trees.
The performance will begin at 7pm and last approximately one hour.
Two additional performances will take place in August in Amherstburg and in the Windsor Sculpture Park.
