Windsor fire crews quickly put out an early afternoon fire Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the duplex located at 1104 Cataraqui around 12:30pm and found heavy smoke from the second floor of them home.
The second floor residents were home at the time and managed to escaped safely.
Fire official say that it started on the outside of the home. Damage is estimate at $40,000. Two people have been displaced.
They also said there were no smoke alarms found in the units of the duplex.
