An Amherstburg man has won a quarter of a million dollars after a lottery purchase earlier this month.

Nelson St. John played the July 12th Lottario draw, an OLG game that can be played for a dollar for two lines, and won $250,000.

Lottario was launched by Ontario Lottery and Gaming in 1978 as Ontario’s first on-line terminal lotto game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Super Plus Convenience on Fryer Street in Amherstburg.
