Swimming Not Recommended At Six Beaches This Week

With the summer swimming season kicking into high gear, windsoriteDOTca will once again be providing weekly beach reports every Friday all summer long.

We will let you know which beaches are safe for swimming, and those that are not.

Water samples are taken every Wednesday. The samples are sent to a public health lab in London. Testing is done Thursday and the results are given to the Health Unit by Friday.

Based on samples taken Wednesday, June 11th:

No beaches are closed.

Swimming is not recommended at Cedar Beach, Cedar Island Beach, Holiday Beach, Lakeside Beach, Northwest Beach and Seacliff Beach.

All other beaches are safe.
