Police Looking For Car After Rollerblader Hit

Police are searching for a white Chevy Impala after it was allegedly involved in a hit and run with a rollerblader.
Around 8:20am on Friday May 30th, police were dispatched to the intersection of Somme Avenue and Rossini.
The 26 year old victim was rollerblading Westbound on Somme Avenue approaching the intersection at Rossini Boulevard. As he entered the intersection, he heard a car approaching from his left, or North on Rossini Boulevard. The vehicle struck his left hip and knocked him to the ground.
The victim sustained an abrasion to his right cheek. He was transported to hospital by ambulance with non life threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle is described as being a newer Chevrolet Impala. The vehicle had an Ontario plate with the number “7” in the first set of numbers. The vehicle may have fresh damage to the front end or hood.
