The Brazil national football team is advancing to the World Cup quarter finals, and fans took to Ouellette Avenue in Downtown Windsor to celebrate.

At one point, Ouellette Avenue was filled with over fifty cars, decked out with flags, jerseys and Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (Brazil Football Confederation) emblems.

Brazil beat Chile, 3-2, in a penalty shootout this afternoon at the World Cup round of 16 match. They advance to play either Colombia or Uruguay.
