An auction will be held in early July for the contents of local produce supplier Vitale Produce.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency reports on their website that they cancelled the produce licence of Vitale Produce Ltd. effective March 26, 2014.
They say that the company’s licence was cancelled as a result of non-compliance with the Licensing and Arbitration Regulations. Specifically, the cancellation follows a review of recent industry complaints related to failure to address outstanding debts. There were no food safety concerns associated with this licence cancellation.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said they were advised that Vitale Produce Ltd. has ceased operations as a produce company.
The auction includes trucks, vans, office supplies, refrigeration units and more.
It will be held at 1120 McDougall Avenue on July 5th. Preview is at 9am with the auction ay 10am. More information can be found here.
