This Summer, Junior Achievement will be offering two weeks of summer camps for youth of Windsor-Essex during the month of July.

The camps are themed ‘Business Blast’ and will focus on educating the next generation of business leaders in the community. At these camps, students will learn many valuable business skills and will have the chance to apply these skills to real-life situations.

Camp activities will engage participants’ minds and build their business sense, all while enjoying a week with other youth and having fun. Some activities may include tours in local business areas and learning to create a product or service that can be sold in the community.
Further details for the camps can be found on the attached brochure, poster and registration form.

The camps are for those between the ages of 8 and 13 and will run from July 14th to July 18th and July 28th to August 1st between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Camps will be held at the Rose City Islamic Centre located at 5420 Empress in east Windsor. The cost is $160 per child per week or $145 per chile per week for multiples. In addition, Pre-Camp and After-Camp Supervision available at extra cost.

Due to dietary concerns and allergies, Junior Achievement will not be providing snacks or lunch, as it is a peanut-free camp. Those participating in the camps are asked to bring a lunch and two snacks daily, non-marking shoes, change of clothes and an open and positive attitude.

Registration is now open for both weeks of camp. Registrations can be filled out and sent to Windsor Program Manager, Bianca Betschel, by email at [email protected] or by mail to 720 Ouellette Avenue, Box 32, Windsor, Ontario, N9A 1C2.
