They are out there every day making sure that everyone crosses the street safely on their way to school, and tonight they will be honoured.

Since 1976, the Safety Patrol Medallion has been a symbol of achievement for student-volunteers who demonstrate extraordinary commitment to the safety and well-being of their schoolmates.

Patrollers are student-volunteers who have been trained by local police services to use potentially life-saving skills while on duty.

This years awards banquet will be held at the Caboto Club at 7pm.
