Incredible skies over Essex sent in by reader Jody Wipp

Strange clouds came along with a severe thunderstorm that whipped through parts of Amherstburg, Essex County and Windsor, Monday afternoon.

Readers sent in these photos of clouds and flooding in Windsor.

Environment Canada issued a Tornado Watch at 6:48pm and stated “severe weather watchers have reported rotating wall clouds and possible funnel clouds associated with some of the thunderstorms passing through the area in the past hour.”

“There is a slight chance that these rotating clouds could intensify to become a weak landspout tornado,” according to Environment Canada.

If you have storm photos, email them to [email protected].
