Windsor Police helped to talk a man off of a window ledge during the early morning hours, Wednesday.
Police were in the 1300 block of Ouellette dealing with another call when their attention was drawn to someone screaming across the street.
Officers could see a man from an upper level apartment unit standing outside on a narrow window ledge.
Police tried talking to the man, and one officer was able to build rapport with the man.
The officer went to the apartment unit and spoke with the man through the door for several minutes.
After the man agreed to open the door for the officer, police were able to get him off the ledge and have him transported to the hospital for assessment.
