Dubbed Windsor’s largest event of the year, the North American Sport & Hobby Expo has taken over all four ice rinks at the WFCU Centre this weekend and organizers have planned something for everybody.

“We’ve built a crazy exciting event for the entire family,” says event producer Andrew Adam. “Anyone who loves having fun should be here. It’s as simple as that.”

The building is split into 14 theme zones, and 175 exhibitors are ready to impress sport and hobby enthusiasts. Event highlights include local exhibitors, contests and giveaways, crafts, woodworking, music, arts, a comic book area, a model and remote control vehicle area, appearances by celebrities and professional athletes, new products, an interactive skills testing area and more.

“The Hockey Hall of Fame and appearances by sports legends top off the list of highlights, but truly the focus is on the over 175 incredible vendors who are going all out to make this weekend spectacular,” says Adam. “I am personally most excited to experience the Geek Zone, Combat Zone and Outdoor Zone, which are only 3 of 14 zones.”

The Sport & Hobby Expo runs Saturday from 10am – 8pm and Sunday from 10am – 6pm at the WFCU Centre. Single day tickets are $13/adult in advance or $15/adult at the door.
