The Welcome Centre Shelter for Women’s food bank is dangerously low right now and organizers need your help.

Officials say the food bank is so low that they say they are at risk of a temporary closure until they can build up a supply adequate enough to provide women and children with the staples they need.

They are looking for donations of the following:

  • Protein (canned/frozen/fresh meats and fish, peanut butter, beans and legumes)
  • Kraft Dinner/Hamburger Helper
  • Pastas and Pasta Sauce
  • Canned/Frozen vegetables
  • Canned Fruits
  • Rice
  • Side dishes (Sidekicks, boxed potatoes etc.)
  • Bread
  • Milk
  • Frozen pizzas/other heat/serve items
  • Cereal
  • School Snacks (granola bars/fruit cups
  • Crackers
  • Cleaning Supplies

You can donate direct to the shelter located at 263 Bridge Avenue in West Windsor.
