Windsor Comic Conventions Set To Heat Up

With the growing success of comic conventions in the area, Windsorites can now add another date to their calendars.

Making it official via Facebook Tuesday, an event was created by Christmas Comic Con organizer Mike Michalski. On Sunday, August 17th, St. Clair College will play host to the inaugural Super Summer Comic Con from 11 am until 4pm.

Taking place in the main campus gymnasium, the event is part of the St. Clair Alumni Association’s family fun day. Many details are yet to be announced, but the event is set to have free admission and several vendors selling comic books, collectibles, toys, posters, original art and much more. It’s probably a safe bet that there will be a cosplayer or two on hand as well.

Michalski’s most recent convention drew over 3,000 people to the St. Clair Centre For The Arts last December. To stay updated on new announcements regarding the Super Summer Comic Con, people are being asked to follow the official Christmas Comic Con facebook page.
