The Essex Region Conservation Authority, the Windsor Port Authority, the Detroit River Canadian Cleanup, the City of Windsor, Sandwich Teen Action Group, and New Beginnings are setting out to clean up a section of the Detroit River this Saturday, and they need your help.

The targeted area for cleanup is the shoreline and surrounding areas adjacent to McKee Park, which is located at the foot of Chewitt Street, in west Windsor.

The clean uptakes place between 12:30pm and 3pm (weather permitting). Anyone over the age of 13 is invited to take part. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts, and boots are recommended (no open-toed shoes).
