The students in the Performing Arts Program at St. Clair College present a new and exciting production of hit Canadian musical The Drowsy Chaperone.

One of the most popular shows of the past decade, The Drowsy Chaperone has all the charm of a Golden Age musical, wrapped up in a hilarious comedic package perfectly suited to a modern audience.

This heartwarming and laugh-out-loud funny show is a loving send-up of the classic 1920s musical, sure to delight the most seasoned aficionados and newcomers alike.

Guest Director Jim Warren leads the creative team for this production. From Stratford to Vancouver, Jim’s experience as an award winning director has brought him all over the country, making him an ideal choice to guide St. Clair’s young actors.

“We are so pleased to be working with Jim on this project,” says Program and Artistic Director Katherine Kaszas. “An actor’s director with the heart of a clown, he is the perfect artist to bring these characters to life!”

The play takes place at the Chrysler Theatre on April 9th, 10th and 11 at 7:30pm with a matinee April on April 12th.
