Two legends join the Caesars Windsor’s August Classic Rock line-up this summer for back-to-back nights of mega hits.

British legends Deep Purple will be performing at Caesars Windsor on the Colosseum stage on Thursday, August 21st at 8pm. Considered a member of the 70s ‘holy trinity’ of rock, the band has inspired some of the biggest contemporaries today including Metallica, Bon Jovi and Def Leppard. Selling over 100 million records worldwide and ranked VH1’s Top 25 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock in 2000, Deep Purple continues to tour strong, currently hot off their 2013 Now What?! album that peaked at #7 for Top Rock Albums last year. Considered the “Loudest Band” by the Guinness Book of World Records in ‘75, hear them play their biggest hits live including “Smoke on the Water”, “Highway Star”, “Lazy” and “Space Truckin”!

Tickets start at $30 Canadian.

One of the ultimate classic rock bands Steely Dan is headed to the Colosseum next on Friday, August 22nd at 9pm on their Jamalot Ever After Tour. Following their successful Mood Swings 2013 Tour, this entertaining band has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide and helped define the soundtrack of the 70s with chart topping hits “Reelin’ in the Years”, “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number”, “Deacon Blues”, “Hey Nineteen” and more, all amassed from their seven platinum albums. They reunited in the early ‘90s, launching a string of sold-out tours. Their artistic talent allowed them to achieve induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2001 they won four Grammy Awards for Two Against Nature including the top honour for Album of the Year.

Tickets start at $45 Canadian.

Tickets go on sale for both shows at noon on Saturday, May 10th.
