Hello time traveller!!

The information listed below is likely outdated and has been preserved for archival purposes.

Windsor Police Service in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County launched The Vulnerable Persons Registry, with the aim to promote communication and gives police quick access to critical information about a registered vulnerable person where the person wanders from their place of safety.

The Vulnerable Persons Registry can provide police with emergency contact information, detailed physical descriptions, known routines, favorite attractions, or special needs of the wandering individual. This information can assist officers in communicating with, attending a residence of, or dealing with an emergency involving an individual who has wandered.

Citizens can access the registry online through on the police website or via telephone reporting 519-255-6700 ext. 4151. Telephone reporting is accessible in all languages.

More information on the WPS Vulnerable Persons Registry can be found here: http://www.police.windsor.on.ca/services/reporting/Pages/Vulnera
