Local Business Owners Can Win $10k Towards Energy Retrofit

Local businesses have just a few days left to take advantage of winning $10,000 towards an energy-efficient retrofit project through Enwin utilities.

The Retrofit is Right contest targets businesses that want to make a change to be more energy efficient.

“All you have to do is fill out a simple form online,” explained said Chris Routliffe, program coordinator for ENWIN. “No purchase is necessary. If your company wins, we’ll cover the cost of your project, up to $10,000.”

ENWIN is holding the contest to raise awareness of the saveONenergyOM For Business programs, and to drive participation in the RETROFIT program. Incentives under the retrofit program include the replacement of lighting and controls, HVAC systems, compressors, motors, variable frequency drives, pumps, fans, refrigeration and more.

“Participants in retrofit programs will not only realize savings on their energy bills,” explained Routliffe, “but also through reduced maintenance schedules.”

All entries must be received by Monday, March 31st 2014, and the contest winner will be drawn on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014.
