Like The Color Run? Similar ‘Run Or Dye 5k’ Race Coming To Windsor

Windsorites are going to have two chances to have themselves doused from head to toe in colour along the riverfront this year.

In addition to the second annual Color Run which makes its return on July 19th, the Run or Dye 5k run will take place on September 20th.

The Run or Dye race is produced by Viral Events based out of Utah and the Windsor location is one of twenty three locations in Canada in which it will be held this year.

The run will take place along Riverside Drive from Ouellette to Sunset and then head back to the Festival plaza along the Riverfront trail.

Along the way, runners will get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based powdered dye at every kilometer.

Event organizers say that they will donate a portion of the proceeds raised to a charity, which will be announced at a later date.

Note to commenters: The Color Run is an event that originated in the United States and is therefore not spelled with the Canadian “colour” spelling.
