Free Parking, City Services Delayed For Family Day Monday

City of Windsor offices will be closed on Family Day Monday, and the next City Council meeting will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, February 18th in Council Chambers at City Hall. The 311 Call Centre will be closed, but the 211 Call Centre will be open 24 hours on Monday.
Here is a look at other city services:
GARBAGE AND RECYCLING COLLECTIONS: There will be no residential collection services. All residential garbage and recycling collection services will be delayed by one day.
PUBLIC DROP-OFF & HOUSEHOLD CHEMICAL WASTE DEPOTS located at the northeast corner of Central Avenue and E.C. Row will be closed.
PARKS AND RECREATION: All arenas remain open for regular rentals. All community centres are closed except for rentals by prior arrangement. Free public skating is available at Lanspeary Lions Outdoor Rink from 2pm to 5pm weather permitting, The Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre is open for adult lengths and memberships, however registered programmes at the centre will not operate on Family Day. Adventure Bay Family Water Park is open from 10am to 8pm.
PARKING ENFORCEMENT: There will be no parking enforcement and municipal ticket payment offices will be closed.
WINDSOR PUBLIC LIBRARY: All locations of the Windsor Public Library will be closed.
TRANSIT WINDSOR: City buses will operate on a regular Sunday/Holiday schedule on Monday. The Tunnel Bus will operate on a weekday schedule. The Customer Service Office at 300 Chatham Street West is open regular hours on Monday from 7am until 9pm. The sales office at 3700 North Service Road East closed.
