Crews are seen working to remove snow and ice from the top of a storm sewer catch basin in Walkerville

Ice, snow and slippery roads are being taken care of by city crews and residential streets are on the list, according to the City of Windsor.

City work crews and contractors say most Windsor roads and side streets are in good condition following yesterday’s snow and overnight rain, which tapered off around 3am.

The city is warning, however, that less-travelled roads, cul-de-sac’s, dead ends and other roads that receive minor amounts of traffic could still have icy sections.

Crews are out clearing catch basins and salting but the city says 90 percent of roads and side streets are bare and wet.
