Windsor’s Unemployment Rate Falls Again

Eleven hundred fewer people are unemployed in the Windsor area.
In November, 14,100 people were unemployed in the Windsor area. In December, that number fell to approximately 13,000.
In all, the unemployment rate fell from 8.5% to 7.8% in December, putting Windsor in sixth place nationally.
Windsor’s unemployment rate is still higher than the national rate, 7.2%.
